Does anyone know where you can buy really large cyclinf jerseys at a good price.
To put it in perspective I have managed to aquire in the evans sale a Fat Lad at the Back Spare tyre soft shell which is listed as 54- 58 inch chest and is a great fit. I got this half proce at £35 but still seems expensive for a shirt really.
I usually use no cycling specific tops but I love the pockets just having somewhere to put my hanky is a revelation.
Do any of the budget brands do really big jerseys?

Some go quite large, but not a lot. FLAB spotted that hole in the market.

Aldi is often worth a look, as they don't seem to get anything smaller than medium (which is quite generous). Their softshell jackets are excellent, and the summer jerseys are also good. Keep an eye out for the Cycling special buys and take a look. Mind you get there early before the flocks of MAMILs and the ebay re-sellers get stuck in.

Perhaps put your snack / takeaway / beer money away in a jar. Not only will you lose some weight, you'll have money saved up for a new jersey etc in no time, of which you'll have more choice as well

Thanks for the advice think I will lose some belly before making further purchases

Excellent plan if you can do it, because it will also make the cycling much easier and therefore more fun.

put some more miles in and soon you'll fit in most brands XXL, so don't buy too much really large stuff as soon it'll be too big!

As well as the cycling eating healthily and cutting out processed food, junk food, too many sugary things will have a rapid effect and make you feel alot better.

£35 may be a very good price for a soft shell, if it lasts as long as my walking soft shells. Very few of my "more expensive" outdoor clothes have been anything other than good value. Hope yours turns out that way
