Bicycle tutor - subscription to access videos

I have just tried to access his site and you now have to pay to watch his videos, the site has always been very good but be aware if you recommend it to people now ...

$5.95 a month erm whats that about £4 a month , i think many people will look elsewhere ......

Yup,
this was posted a couple of weeks ago. A great shame. I know he needs to cover some costs but what he is charging is excessive. I can't imagine many people paying that amount every month. I would have been happy to pay a one off fee of £5.00 a year... but £4.00 a month? No chance.

I think there used to be a button on the side saying 'If you liked this video by me a coffe.' Not enough people did!


Anyway, if hosting costs are a problem he could have always put them on YouTube.

Yes when i 1st saw it i thought it was a year until i read it closely , considering how much free stuff is out there he has priced himself out of the market.

There was stuff on there that was useful to us "mech" types as well. Its a shame as it was a useful site, I'm not going to pay a monthly fee for something I only use once in a while.

That's a pity, youtube etc has got most of the stuff folk need but the site was pretty comprehensive but at £4 a month I'll definitely look elsewhere.

Pretty much echoing what everyone else has said. I found the site really useful, but only needed to use it once in a while. For the amount I used it it's cheaper to take anything to the LBS that I don't know how to do than it is to pay monthly for the site. In which case, maybe it is a benefit.
