Different pads depending on the type of brakes your bike has, they're quite easy to tell apart. If you can post your bike model or look online for the specs, it should tell you, or you could post a photo 
I guess theres a good chance of it being cantilever or v-brakes, pictures of both here assuming they arent disc brakes http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bicycle_brake#Traditional_cantilever_brakes

Any v-brakes should work fine. Id probably go for something cheaper like http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=55821 if you just wanted a link.
Theyre easy to replace, but look at a guide/youtube if you're not taking it to a shop, as having them set up properly makes them perform a lot better
