As long as I breathe, I attack.
I use decathlon "5" bib shorts and i am comfy, they are better cut than many as i find a lot are to tight on my thighs.

Anybody tried the Altura Ergofit Pro Bib Short as they are on offer. Its either them or the DHB Aeron Pro Bib Short.
As Jowwy says I am looking for something a bit more comfortable for my longer distances up to the 70/80 mile mark.
Anyone tried either one of these or any other recommendations?

Can't say that I have: my experience of Altura means that they'll have to try very hard to see any more of my money.

DHB generally, have a rep for being good value for money though.

Yes I have them. They are fine, nice and comfy, good pad and have served me well for many a mile.

Shutt VR Pro Bibs - useful independent review here and I know they've gone through significant enhancement since then - and Endura FS-260 Pro Bibshort - reviewed by my favourite reviewer Brian Palmer of the washing machine post here - can't insert link for exact page from his site so you will have to search under clothing reviews. Join the Shutt club room - only a short form to fill in - entitles you to 10% off everything.

For rides up to 100 km or so I have three pair of knicks in rotation.

(1) Castelli Velocissimo which are by far my favourties;
(2) Gore Xenon Sonic bib shorts
(3) Santini Slice PowerLycra/TwistGel Bibshorts

I also have used a pair of Endura FS260 bibs but they are nothing special and I wouldn't buy them again. For longer rides I wear a pair of Assos F1 Mille S5 Bib shorts.

Regards
Andrew

How's the pad in them for size. I got a pair of Tenn bins and the pad is too small, have a pair of longs from aldi/lidl and the pad is better/bigger.

I find Tenn stuff to be very average in quality, but you get what you pay for.
I have never measured pads in the bibs but it is a good one anyway.
