Being a short arse, I can't seem to get away with men's bib tights (longs). Does anyone know where I can get a decent pair specific for women?

Thanks

Assos do them, but I don't know how you ride the bike and hold onto your boobs at the same time.

Sorry to hijack this thread a bit, but I have the opposite problem, I'm too tall for ladies longs, they always end up 3/4 length. I did think about getting men's which should be longer, but always thought the padding would be different... Are the pads pretty much the same for men's and women's then?

It's the top bit that is different. Men's have straight braces, which women's...er...you know...get in the way of. So women's usually move in on the way up, to sidestep the problem.
:whistle::blush:

Sorry Mr P, didn't make that very clear...was talking standard longs, not bibs... :angry:

Punky - I've had ladies tights and men's bib tights. I haven't found the padding to be any different really. Unless a certain piece of anatomy is totally hardened and cannot define difference :becool:

Ooooh thanks for that MrP! Learn something new everyday.

I've looked at a couple of the links put up, can't say I'm really taken with any of them :wacko:

Thought I'd update as found some lovely girlie bibs to keep my curtains comfy :ohmy:

Here's a linky for any other ladies, cos the ones I DID want *stamp feet* were not in my size *pout* and seem a good buy at £30.

I was particularly interested in the Multiple Activities Woman Pad :biggrin::biggrin:

But had these instead, with the Endurance Woman Pad hey heeeyyy :smile:

Just received delivery of a pair of these ladies bib tights:

I have to say that they seem very good. However the sizing would be a problem if one were unusual dimensions. I went for the 'Large' as that's for women up to 5'8. I'm actually 5'9 so the straps are pretty tight but I think it'll be OK after they've been worn a little. However if I were any wider I wouldn't have got them on. 'Large' seems to equate to a tall woman who's a size 14/16; if one were a shorter woman size 18 I don't know quite whether you'd find anything to fit. These bib tights aren't cut particularly generously over the chest area either so no need for a separate wonderbra!

If it's any comfort I have similar troubles with bib-shorts. I'm *ahem* of average height but slightly more than average girth. Quite often the middle bits fit while the straps are a tad too long. And don't get me started on the sizing of some Italian brands, such as Briko. Innacurate, verging on outright lies.

It's not just a girly thing...
