Any pair of good quality bib shorts will be able to help you with 70-80 miles per day.
Take a look on wiggle. They will cost you in the region of £70-100 for ones with decent padding

Wigle's own dhb brand are excellent value for money. Get their good ones with the red pad.

dhb are amongst the best value for money bib's, if money is no object, I would say Castelli bodypaint (still cheaper than Assos though)!

For me I would be looking for a decent pad, good tight fit as well and stitching that doesn`t fall apart. DHB are not bad, my roubaix bibs have good stitching but the pad is ok not great though. I think you do in most cases pay for what you get albeit my recent purchase of Dare2b AEP bibs have fell short in the stitching department!

I have Castellis they are nice, still get a sore arse after 100KM though, if you've never ridden that distance before you are going to be sore whatever.

I rode 195 miles in a pair of Btwin Grade 7 Decathlon jobbies with no issues whatsoever. Cost me £40. I'm lead to believe it's not what you pay it's what suits your body. I also get on with Continental bibs from CRC, think they were about £40 too.
