Just my luck , fancied a Bianchi for ages this one isn't far away and for €200 seems a fair price but it is TOO BLOOMIN' BIG at least it is for me :hyper:

That's true, aluminium is not easy to weld by hand as the metal gives no clue as to it's temperature via colour changes. I'm a half decent welder on steel but I can't join ali neatly for toffee nuts. The finish on most MIG/TIG welded alloy or steel bike frames is nothing to shout about, IMHO. The nicest thing you can say is it's functional, but pretty it ain't. And often expensive alloy frames are no better in this respect than late 80's gas pipe steel MTB's From an aesthetic point of view lugged frames win hands down every time.
