I like the look of this but it seems a bit "ordinary" for a Bianchi if that isn't an impossibility ?https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Bici-da-...e=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649
Yes l think you are right, even the Campag derailleur is very basic. I might make a "don't want to know offer" and see what happensThey made plenty of 'bread and butter' models .looks like one of those so not very special. I bought a similar one down here. Campag chainset and derailleur but cheap brakes which is a bit odd. Nice enough but I'd say its over priced.
Thanks for that, you just saved me from an unwise offer to buy the bikeI looked at a similar Bianchi over the weekend and again it was a basic one which I left for that reason, even at £50.
Looks quite simple to me.
That's certainly worth a go.Here is a slightly better one

I don't think it qualifies as a Bianchi unless its painted "Celeste". Just sayingHmmm that was my home territory more years ago than l will admit to and lm not going back even for a very nice Chromovelato Bianchi !
Valid point, l wouldn't give it houseroomI don't think it qualifies as a Bianchi unless its painted "Celeste". Just saying
It looks like the fuel priming system on a veteran vehicle ... Itala or the like. What's the Italian equivalent of Heath Robinson?I'm working on a Bianchi at the moment, it's definitely not "bog standard ".......

Same firm who make the bikes, just a little earlier.....
Some of the basic old Bianchi bikes seem to sell for very high prices on eBay!
