A friend living in Spain is looking for an eMTB, and asked me for an opinion on the Bianchi E-Vertic X-Type:

Only I don't know anything about e-bikes, other than having just rented an ebike (Atom might have been the brand we used) for a day trip on some gravel trails near Seville.
I have advised him on the groupset being entry level, which he is open eyed to.
But on the battery aspect, I'm unsure if Bianchi have a good rep in this emerging market, or if better options at the €2,500-3,000 range.
On this note, he was open to buying in the UK as he comes over often, but I think there's post-brexit paperwork and possible import duties he'd have to think about?
