Has anyone found a good way to touchup Bianchi Celeste stone chips? I bought the following touchup paint from my LBS, but its so bad that I ended up wiping it off the bike again with thinners:
I've never had problems touching up stone chips on cars where the paint fills up the stone chips instantly. But the above touchup paint tends to run anywhere but the actual stone chip itself and its semi transparent such that it requires several coats in order to hide the mark. In the end the final result is a big blob which doesn't even look a good match to the original Celeste. I had thought the problem might be with the application mechanism which is a bit like a felt tip pen, so I removed the mechanism and applied the paint with a brush instead. But even with a brush its impossible to get anywhere near an acceptable finish :-(
