I did this a few weeks ago - it was lovely on a dry sunny day, but parts of it are just worn, rutted footpath across grassy pasture. There were two very steep, rough bits that I couldn't get up on my hybrid. The made-up tracks are better, but don't expect tarmac smoothness, and the section on the lanes is quiet. It's only 13 miles, and some of the signage is missing, so I met lots of people who were retracing their steps because they were lost. Hope you enjoy your ride!
