best winter gloves...

Can anybody recommend a good pair of gloves that are warm and waterproof would also be nice! My commute is killing me purely because of my freezing hands, everything else is warm

Can't say that they're the best, but I've light Raynaud's and have found silk liners + Sealskin Lobsters with primaloft a blessing this last winter. Otherwise I've been using liners + Goretex snowboarding gauntlets on a flat-bar (too bulky for STI levers).

I like the Endura Strike Waterproof gloves. and for when it is really cold below -9C or so I use them with a merino wool glove liner as well.

+1 Got these for Christmas and I'm really impressed by how well they keep the cold out. When everyone one else on club group rides was complaining of frozen fingers, mine were toasty!

+1 On the enduras....if anything they can be too warm Just see what the local bike shop has in? Mine had Endura so thats what I went for.

Haha - so it is not just me that finds them too warm at times? good to know. not actually needed to use liners with them at all this winter and I have been out riding all winter.
