Best way to polish old campag parts?

Im going to buy some old campagnolo hubs & polish them up
There were some on ebay the other day which had been polished to almost a mirror finish - jolly nice
Could anyone give advice for the best techniques

Just rub with WD40, it has always worked for me.

Very fine sandpaper (1200) then autosol and elbow grease. Good luck keeping them shiny though.

Flap wheel + polishig paste on an electric grinder works for me.
