Best thing about the weekend?

Doing my first long (for me) rides. 10 miles on Saturday and 16 on Sunday, combine that with sitting in front of the fire pit on Sat and Sunday night and I was in heaven.

Shooting 82 in a medal today which is a decent round for me.

If I shoot 102 I am happy
Bearing in mind I am in the vets..........One member said to my friend........"you should always try to score lower than your age". His reply was "bloody hell, I'll be 140 yrs old before that happens.

Lots of good things last week-end.
27 miler on Friday.
At our Grand-daughters 13th Saturday evening.
51 miler through glorious countryside and in beautiful weather on Sunday.
Watched Liverpool beat Watford.
Went shopping for a new TV and new furniture.....actually quite enjoyable and enlightening.
Ahhhhh sometime (just sometimes) life is very good.

Ha ha 84 tonight in midweek medal, which is nett 72. Nett 70 on Sunday. It's all coming together - due a low one soon!!!

Thats good golf.....what h/c are you? I was 18 at my BEST but worked really hard and have worked my way up to 26

I'm off 12. Hovered at 13/14 for a bit then shot 78 and got cut. Now at 12.2 after a 0.2 cut on Sunday - need to practice if I am to get any better I think!
