I rode in the Twinings Pro Am Salisbury sportiv yesterday and rode the hardest I have ever done over distance. An undulating ride with a few hills thrown in, one of which is a bit of a bugger!
There were 4 Guys in front riding for Help for Heroes and what a team they were. Got to be the best I've seen for many a moon.

If you guys are members on here then full respect from me

Great stuff.
Thats some impressive stats.
Can anyone take part in these races, do you have to pay anything.

It's open to all for about £25 but it's well supported. It's not a race although you ride to get a decent time. The 2 food stops offer loaads of food, sports drinks, gels, power bars etc and the goody bag at the end was pretty decent too

I know it's £25 and a whole load of effort but I believe it is so well worth it

£25 is less than i anticipated.
In fact £25 is bargain for a 5 hour event with support and food .
I think id prefer this to formal club riding but thats just me.
Get my pb distance up to 100 and then maybe do one.
Presumably theyre quite seasonal and were coming to the end of them for this year.
(forgive me racking your brains)

Hey Buddy,

British Cycling and Wiggle run either support or run these events normally toward the end of the year. In fact the New Forest 100 has just been extended to include another day because of the demand for this type of event

Try this http://www.cyclospor...per-series.html

and this one http://www.britishcy...sultsperpage=20
