best long drop brake calipers?

I have tried Tektros on my winter bike but the performance is poor even with SwissStop pads

The Shimano R650s look okay but only come in Silver and I would prefer black to match the bike!!!

any other suggestions?

Stick with Shimano. Got R550 on my commuter.
