You need chain lube for chains, mechs, brake pivots.

Good grease for hubs/bearings - both very different - there isn't a one for all.

Chains - get a good quality one - e.g. Finish Line / White Lightning. Dry lubes tend to be cleaner, although need re-applying in the wet.

Grease - I like Finish Line Waterproof Teflon stuff.

What he said. You can't use one for everything. Wouldn't save you any money anyway, you'll use the same amount of stuff, just all from one bottle instead of several.

Stick to quality kit like Finish Line and you'll be fine.

I have a spray on chain lube and I really don't recomend it - it goes everywhere but the chain and if aplied in the shed soaks into the wood and stinks the place out for ages. I found also the lube stained my patio.

Are there any decent spray on chain lubricants?

It's not even a good idea, sledgehammer to crack a nut. You want one drop on each roller, that's all. Coat the chain in oil and all you'll do is collect crap at an astonishing rate.
