bell to fit specialised sirrus handbars

having trouble finding a bell to fit the handlebars on my sirrus elite... I can probably do without one, but find them useful. Bought 2 now, but the fittings aren't wide enough. Any sirrus owners found one that fits?

Never had a problem with its fit (a mini flick bell came with the bike) but I ditched it way back

I took the one off my Secteur and that has pretty fat oval shaped bars, Not sure if similar to yours?!? I have had trouble getting light brackets to fit due the shape and size so I assume the bell is designed specially. .

I'll take a look in the garage latter and if it's there you can have it (need the bar space for lights).

Pretty sure my 2009 Sirrus Comp came with one attached - probably like HLaB described.
Shouldn't think the bars would be significantly different for the purposes of fitting.

thanks for your offers, very generous. I would usually do without but I don't exactly have the loudest voice in the world, and now that there is a new football stadium on my route I have to dodge the supporters on the pavement come cycle path. A bell should help - especially once it starts to get dark in the evenings. I've also had trouble finding a light to fit on the bars too but finally found one.

Hey Joanna, only just seen this thread - I have the same Sirrus, the bell off my old bike wouldn't fit & took me a couple of attempts to find one that would...The one of my sons old bike!
I have another one on my other sons trailer bike, he never uses the bell...i'm only 'down the road' from you, so if you've not found one yet let me know & i'll happily get it over to you x
