For £25 the pair, are they worth it?

Carrera RX front wheel, 700c size. Almost new, in excellent condition. Black rim and hub, 36 spokes, complete with rim tape plus a quick release and skewer.

Bicycle rear wheel, 700c size. Silver alloy rim (Rigida Nova) and silver hub (Quando), 130mm spacing. 32 spokes. Used but in good condition. Includes a 14-28 7 speed cassette

It would depend if the cassette is campag or not

Couldn't I use the old cassette? New to fiddling with bikes, sorry.

The rear wheel will have a spline which is designed for either campag or shimano cassettes.
You just need to ask the seller if they are campag or shimano-splined. If they are campag then the wheels will be fine - make sure the spacing is the same on the rear wheel as well. I am not a retro expert (in fact I am not an expert on anything!), so someone more able to answer with details should be along soon.
