Great programme and must have one of the best intros ever he will be missed.

Love the story about Rod Smallwood (Iron Maidens Manager) having to phone him up to ask for permission to use the 'I am not a Number.... at the start of the song The Prisoner. Smallwood says that he stuttered through with the request and was all over the place he was so nervous and then there was a pause before McGoohan says very McGoohanish 'Ok then do it'.

I loved the Prisoner, I have seen the whole seies several times, but he was also in many other films. One of my favourites was Hell Drivers, co starring alongside Stanley Baker.

He was in Columbo a bit too (you know, the 'Mercan tec with the cigar habit and crazy eyebrow thing going on). He won awards for that, too
