How do I know what it is? I run 53/39 Shimano 105 10 speed and need a new 53 ring. Is it likely to be 110 or 130?

PS Ribble do Stronglight replacement rings. Dural are good, buy the Zircal ones are flashier.

Spa Cycles also have a wide range of chainrings that can replace the Shimano 105 ones.

That's a TT ring. The Stronglight rings are laser engraved and the edges all machined lovely. The dural ones are cheaper, but more simple.

Nope. As long it's the right BCD, you should be fine. As an example, I have 105 rings on an FSA crank.

IMO Shimano chainrings are smoother shifting and more positive than others - I've gone from Shimano Ultegra to Stronglight and the Ultegra is far superior.
