Cracking a solo.
Do you have a video of her cycling in the UK so I can do a comparison?

Plenty of people use normal clothes when cycling in the UK, without helmets lycra or yellow jackets. I'm often one of them

Plenty of people in NL wear high visibility and reflective clothing on their bikes, just not when they're riding round town to work, shopping and so on.

I can't see where the hypocrisy is. Just a good report.

You say "plenty of people" in NL, but I've yet to see a video or photo of someone doing so on a bike (and I've trawled through lots of footage, too). When the BBC run articles or broadcasts on UK cycling and the presenter gets on a bike here they're pretty much always in a flouro top, helmet, etc.

I am still quite new to cycling - I have done some research on wearing an helmet and cannot find a definitive answer, if an helmet should or should not be worn... Seemed logical to me to wear on!

Its a personal choice. No legal compulsion in the UK to wear one.
