Depends if your old frame has a bb30 but i doubt it

Cheers  the issue with bb30 is the axle is a larger diamiter than bsa and if you did decide to decrease the diamiter which would cost too much time and effort the poor integrity wont be worth using it, using a bsa crankset in a bb30 frame is different though and rather easy

So far BB30 gets a lot of bad press anyway. They are reported to wear quickly and develop various noises - even at an early stage.
I am not sure why this should be the case as BB30 is a very simple concept. Maybe interference fit does not achieve the same degree of precision of fitting as a threaded BB? For my money though, fitting a BB30 would not currently be an upgrade - even if it were possible (which it isn't)

I think this is a case of 'you only hear the complaints' sort of scaremongering. An awful lot of bikes are now sold with press fit BB's and the vast majority have no problems at all, in fact I'll hazard a guess a large proportion of people wouldn't even know what kind of BB they have.
Is it an upgrade? For the vast majority of us, probably not. The sort of of power generated that'll need that extra stiffness that press fit BB's are reported to have, most of us will never have so it's not an issue.
FWIW, my Cannondale with it's BB30 (FSA crankset) has done over 5,000 miles so far and been no trouble.

I hear an awful lot of creaking from the bikes of riders overtaking me these days and I am fairly sure that it is coming from their bottom brackets! I never used to notice that 10 or 15 years ago ...

There is no scientific evidence to support taking glucosamine supplements.
My father was crippled by arthritis of the hips, and I was already heading the same way in my 30s, so I decided to take glucosamine sulphate and cod liver supplements on the basis that they might help and were unlikely to harm. 25 years later my hips are slightly better than they were back then whereas my father was hobbling about using 2 walking sticks by this age. So ... I will ignore the lack of scientific evidence and carry on with what I am doing!
