When I purchased my Bafang electric conversion kit and lithium battery I also purchased a programming cable which came with software installed.
When programming, I followed the many internet suggestions concerning battery charging and discharging to maintain the battery in the best condition.
For the last year I've had the charging set to only charge to 80% and to stop providing power once the level has dropped to 20%. With this level of charging I can get up to 60 miles of use.
It seems that I'm therefore only able to use 60% of the battery capacity with my current settings.
What levels do other electric users charge to? Would I be imprudent if perhaps I changed the parameters to 90% and 10% which should give me an extra 20% of battery charge to use ?
