http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/...act_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A2SGW2Q792QCL2 I saw these ones on Amazon...would they do the job ??There are lots of option for base layers, I use Helly Hansen base layers, not too expensive and so far very reliable and long lasting. I work outdoors so I use them at work as well as cycling.
Aldi occasionally do good base layers.

Ok thanksYes, those would do the job nicely, I only use the long sleeved tops, I wear roubaix bib tights or thermal leggings depending on which kind of cycling I'm doing.
On sale next Thursday. The base layers are very good and about the only things worth buying, IMO...
They still had some merino tops last time I was in, about £16I had an Aldi Merino T which was lovely, but it unfortunately got put into the tumble drier.....
I would certainly take a look at them when they next go on sale - next week.
