Getting faster, very slowly

I´m still agonising over which road bike to go for and have a short list that has turned into a long list.
I´ve also just discovered that you can buy direct from the US with big discounts (and it looked like free postage to the UK??), for example:

I like the idea of getting measured up and having a trial run out so I think Condor is my next port of call (especially as I work 200 yards from their showroom). But the above offers are scary.
