What is the extra tube cutting vertically across the rear triangle below the seat? Is it a reinforcement bar or has the photoshopper forgotten to remove the thing that is holding it up? Worth clarifying before purchase!

I've just come back from China where you do see some bikes a bit like this. However, they tend to have those top brake extensions generally known as suicide levers. For a proper 'back to the '80's' I'd insist on having a set of those fitted!

NB "Veloce" has nothing to do with the equipment on the bike - it is NOT Campag equipped.

This is EXACTLY what i was trying to explain to my MD

After years of NOT doing bicycles (I started at the company as the bike technician when we did a lot of BSO to entry level bikes) he wants to go back into the market.

We discussed things like needing someone on staff who knew their stuff and not just a lad that once changed his own brake blocks

Then he enthused about getting Muddy Fox and my heart sank. I know he was thinking of the Muddy Fox of old which had some respect, in the days that we were selling KHS

I tried to tell him that Muddy Fox was a bit like Bush TVs...once a respected brand, licences and cheapened to the lowere end of the market
