Bar tape riding up

Hi,

My bar tape on both the left and right bars has started migrating up the bars where I rest my hands leaving a gap between the different wraps round the bars. To fix this do i just cut the electrical tape off, re-wrap the bar tape and stick back down with electrical tape again?

Yes. Tape hasn't been wrapped tight enough. It's a skill, but a great time to learn it !

Now have it back looking nice - not to keen on the finish my LBS did on it when they put the tape on though.

Try the self adhesive tape.

I had this happen on a Giant bike with factory wrapped tape.

Never had it happen with self adhesive tape.
