Bar Ends on the inside

I have a long up hill climb on my route and like to get low when there is a head wind. I would benefit from some hand position nearer the centre of the bike.
Not aerobars as I'm no athlete. They are way too expensive and big for the 10 mins I would need them for.
I was thinking of putting some bar ends to the inside of my brakes & gears. My problem is getting them on without removing all the other components.

Can anyone suggest bar ends which have two screws like any other handlebar mount? I was also looking at extension kits but they would not be comfortable.

i run my bar ends inboard. theyre much better there! trust me, its a little known secret as everybody else has swallowed the conventional placement of them without questioning where they would actually like to put them.

just get on and do it. removing the other parts doesnt take that long.

+1 for just taking the levers and gears off, putting in the bar ends, and putting them back. It takes 15mins absolute tops. If you're worried not getting the same lever angle after putting them back, do one side at once then you can just copy the other side...or take a photo on the phone. Meths is good for lubricating the grips for removing and replacing (it evaportates so they don't stay lubricated). I have the bar ends on the inside too and prefer it.

It looks like it's bar ends then. Will need to order some nice white ones to match my bike and spend some time fitting them. Not looking forward to getting the grips off .

If you have std and not oversize bars what about getting some spiannci aero bars ?
Shorter than std bars and you get an aero advantage without the full size or weight of a full set up , they are only for 25.4/26 mm bars and clip on without having to take off your other bits.
GGRRRR fire fox will not let me past a link !

I like the look of these especially since they have mini ones, looks like they are hard to find though.

Check your bar widths , might be worth contacting the below to check sizes ..

Thanks again, I've ordered the Tirimasu ones, cheaper I know but they might do the job, if not then back to the bar ends in the middle. ^_^
