Just remember the order when you take the BES apart.
Ok people.
I have managed to do it after a lot of messing around. I never had enough slack at first so I ended up moving into the big sprocket at the back. I then undone everything, moved the lever into the downwards position. That gave me enough slack. Took the bit that goes inside the drop and tightened it a bit to the lever/mount, reinserted it back in the drop only just though. Put the other bits on and somehow its all working, god knows how. A good lesson as this is new to me.
