Anyone up to anything interesting this Bank Holiday weekend?

I'm looking to do a London to Oxford cycle camp then return to London.

Rest weekend, though I may sneak out Saturday morning for a short ride.

Nope, I am off to the Isle of Wight for the weekend, no cycling
Take your bike! I drove round it on a sightseeing day trip earlier this year & spent the whole day thinking I must come back with my bike. Very nice.

On Monday I'm planning a relaxed cycle up the Tissington Trail & hopefully some of the High Peak Trail.

Going by train, not booked the bike and too hard to take a suitcase too! Also, I am staying with non cycling friends as their guest. I may sneak some padded shorts into my case and perhaps hire a bike though

@srw and I plan to do the Chiltern Cycleway over the three days - it's a long thin 175 mile loop so relatively easy to split into 3 60-milers.

Taking the bike home to my parents house on dartmoor. Not a restful place to cycle with all those hills but its lovely to be out enjoying the views.

Im planning on cycling from London to Lymington & back over the bank holiday, the wife isnt too keen on this as she will have to drive down on her own.
Lets hope the weather stays nice...
