i bought one 4 years ago. Not sure if its a bamboo but it was that price. I'm wearing it now (I've just got in). Seriously... For 5 quid why are you asking... Get your ass down there and snap up whatever is left

Got a couple of the bamboo t-shirts, love them in warmer weather, they absorb perspiration, keep you cool on the bike, don't smell
Have not tried wearing them in winter as base layer so don't know if they keep you warm, would not think they are equal to the merinos.
Going to get some more, thanks for posting this.
Btw, I had a search on line for other bamboo clothing items, they are very pricey

I got a couple last time they had them in, nice feel to the material but they are quite heavy.
Haven't worn them for cycling in, just for general use.

Bamboo fibre makes lovely clothes. Soft handle, not smelly, good wicking, not itchy. There is just the one drawback though, it tends to be slow drying.
This is what puzzles me about bamboo. My feeling is that sheep have evolved quite a good way of keeping warm blooded creatures warm in quite nasty weather. All that bamboo does is invade my mother's little garden, make scaffolding, a few of-the-moment bikes and feed pandas. What does bamboo know about keeping you warm when it's damp?

I got a free pair of bamboo socks and bought a baselayer at a Sportive back in February and I wore them for several months until it became too warm to wear it can't recall a reason to fault it. Except the socks were unmarked/ black which means they are lost in my sock drawer now

Good quality polyester is no more prone to odour than natural fibres. I have a Craft and a OneTen baselayers, and they are awesome. Better than merino at wicking, and better thermoregulation range. No smell. Cheaper than good quality merino too.

I was in my local one last night & there was loads left, what's their jacket like, it seemed very thin at the back, but is that to let the sweat out?
