After much deliberation and procrastination, I have decided to get a yummy Bianchi Via Nirone tiagra .

However, I want to buy from Corridori as they know their onions and include a proper full fitting with the purchase. Unfortunately, they don't have the bike in stock and, although available, it's going to be 10 days or more before Bianchi ship it over from Italy. I am in the US w/c 11 July so I fear it'll be 23 July before I can get it (assuming it's here)...bah, summer will probably be over by then

Any tips to make the time pass more quickly?

Bianchi aren't the most reliable where estimated arrival times are concerned. I'd just be happy if you get it when you think you're going to get it!

So Corridori have said...Evans have one in stock locally but I so don't want to buy from them. Cyclopolis have a 55cm frame but the chap at Corridori is sure I need a 57c. Are there any other top notch Bianchi dealers in (SW) London/ Surrey? I could always get it fitted by Pearsons or Corridori (at a price)

I did find a stockist in Brooklyn and (if they have one) the bike is $1100 + tax (around 7% in NYC I think) - so that would be around £720, so £200 cheaper...now if I could sneak it through customs unnoticed...

I have never been to GB cycles (I tend to avoid Croydon  ).

I like the Corridori vibe (like I am a big fan of Pearsons)...I think I'll need to be patient  Also gives me time to sell off the Crosstrail to raise some funds...anyone interested ;)

Hmmm, if you could sneak across into New Hampshire their tax is much lower than NYC (I think)...
My ex-partner bought a bike in New Hampshire, rode around on it for a week, stuck it in a box and brought it back with no problems. Suppose the downside is that a) you might not get away with it b) if anything goes wrong you'll have to lug it back to the States ;) c) there's always the risk it will get squished in transit and d) agree it's better to support local businesses who you like dealing with!

As another Croydon-avoider I haven't been to GB Cycles, but they do have a good reputation.

Being patient and killing time by googling for red-Bianchi images, deciding if red tyres might look better etc is probably the sensible option

Lol...it comes with red tyres  Assuming there is no poetic license being taken by Epic et al with the piccies

If the weather is fine on Saturday and I find myself at a loose end on Saturday, I may hop on the bike and check out GB ;)

Does anyone know where I can get a non-Celeste Bianchi bottle...I don't think Corridori have any

Also any recommendations for white women's saddles...I like Bontrager so this is on the list http://www.jejamescycles.co.uk/prod...ger-inform-rl-wsd-road-saddle-white-55475.jpg but anything else around the £50 mark?

Obviously, if Corridori are being obliging I'll take whatever they offer ;)
