I was just about to go out for a Cycle yesterday, and i left my bike out in the sun while i got readt. I went to get on and ride and it wouldent move. I found out my Back wheel wouldent move.
This morning, i took it off, and i oiled the black bit where the disk pad slots in when putting it on, and it seems to go around now finely. Anyone know why else this could be?

My first thought is that something has expanded in the heat and applied pressure to the brakes. This shouldn't happen and without being able to examine the bike it is hard to say if that was it or if it was something else like the wheel being put in slightly out of alignment.

What's more worrying is that by applying oil in the way you have described you've just contaminated the disc and pads so your brakes likely won't work correctly now.

I'm going to put it down to youthful inexperience. I recall a classmate at school oiled the rims of his bike because someone told him that was how to stop the brakes squealing.

Can you be a bit clearer as to what you oiled? If you have got any oil on the pad or disc, please don't ride the bike as hospitals are pretty busy places right now.
as in, when you put your wheel on, the disk brake pad fits into a little black slot thingy

I once had the lockup thing - I solved it in the short term by removing a drop of fluid from the master cylinder; it was probably a combination of heat and water absorption. In the long term I flushed the brakes and put new fluid in.

If you have oiled the brake disc and/or brake pads then you're going to need new pads and a proper clean of the disc.

Oh dear, new pads time as the oil will get on your pads. What make brake. If Avid then you might have the sticky piston issue when sun heats the lever reservoir. Fixed with new pistons. Photo of lever would help. Oh, remove your pads and get scrubbing the caliper and disk.
I tried to remove the pads, but i didn't know how to
it would help if you could show me how to

Pads slide out from top. You should have a retaining pin that goes through a loop on the top of the pad.

PS this is a guess as we don't know what brakes you have. Pictures. You need to remove that oil and before it gets into your pads.

Are these hydraulic brakes or cable.
