After an odd 18 months or so of not really riding *that* much I seem to suddenly be enjoying rides much more again.

Am enjoying getting back out again and my three longest rides this year have been in the last two months. What's going on? It's dark, damp and cold...

I decided I wasn't going to beat myself up about doing a relatively poor mileage this year so maybe I've finally relaxed and have got through my bad patch.

I've been enjoying my rides recently too. The weather in Cheshire today was absolutely glorious though. Probably my most enjoyable ride of the year.
Saw two clubs out on runs and loads of other cyclists enjoying the sun.

I've enjoyed a couple of freezing rides I've had recently. For me October was worse than November weather wise so it's making it feel a pretty good November.

as I cycle to work I am sometimes forced into settting out in the dark at temperatures of -5c and lower - beats driving anyday. Riding in the sunshine is a novelty this time of year :becool:

I'm with you there, although my lack of riding is due largely to injury, just getting back into shape in time for winter! Highlights things like the need for mudflaps though..

If you do it, just give yourself a pat on the back.
If you don't, just shrug your shoulders.
