I should be getting back in the saddle after a long lay off riding, due to driving everywhere
Just got lazy I guess

you are not alone :birthday: I'm just getting back into it after a 4 year layoff. All my bikes and gear werel out of date  still its fun to upgrade

Its hard work on all the hills round here but its also quite exciting . I have found it useful to make a program to keep me motivated. What part of Somerset are you in ?

Congratulations. Even if you hurt tomorrow you will feel good. Don't do another long ride straight away but try to get a shorter ride in tomorrow to looses your legs a bit. In a short while 25 mile will be a pootle for you I am sure ;)
