B----y drivers!.

Went on my first 10 miler today, riding away quite happily up a quiet bypass when this d--k of a car driver thought it would be fun to see how close he could get to me, I was in the cycle lane when he drew up to me and blasted his horn, gave me the two fingers and sped off. WHY???.
I was not in his way or breaking the road laws as I was in the cycle lane.
Must take a pen and paper with me next time to get the reg' number.
Its nervy enough just having started cycling after so many years without this happening.

I was cycling to work yesterday down the three lane Coventry Road.
I was in the inside lane when a quarry truck came past me so close I had to clench the handlebars and I could feel the heat off the trucks rear brakes and tyres.
As soon as he passed me he quickly moved into the middle lane?
There wasn't any other traffic for him to pass so close,(we were the only ones) that's what really pissed me off.

I will admit that since I started cycling again after nealy 40 years I do take more care when I see cyclist ahead of me and give them room.

There's absolutely plenty of good rides out there waiting for you to put that episode out of your mind.

****ing car drivers I hate them...scum of the earth...killers, losers and sad bastards like these need locking up..or better a bullet in the head to save on tax payers cash. I get this shoot all the time and the Police do nothing, even when reported with a registration all they say they can do is 'have a quiet word'. I am saving for a helmet cam then I am going to nail the bastards by giving the police solid evidence.
