I have two of these, one each on the Brompton and the Voyage. Both have water in them to varying degrees. I have the Bromton's off and removed the heatsink/top shield to dry out the lamp, but I'm left with water stains and a film over the reflector. Anyone know how to open the lamp(s) any further to allow me to clean the reflectors?

is this a problem with these lights?
I purchased one recently. And no doubt only a matter of time until it's used in a downpour.
Any tips as to how to stop water ingress?

I have a feeling that the water is a result of my using a hose pipe to wash the bikes. The water seems to be coming in from the joint between the heatsink and the body, so I will reassemble, I think, with a smidgein of silicone sealant.

Try this set of photos of the disassembly of the light (especially page 2). It might help you take it apart further...

Thanks for that, I coudn't see how the reflector came out of the body , but as it's onbviously part of the lens it woudn't get me much further anyway. The pic that showed the LED still atached showed me that it just slid out , I did that then polished the reflector ,through the aperture left ,with a cotton bud. Thanks for your help!
