Pegged me nose and dropped in at Sports Direct to renew my 'sports socks' - feel like I've been getting five for a fiver every few years for ever. But no. £6 for three, second pack half price.

Hmmm. No. I'm not paying that. Three pairs isn't enough, and I'm not paying £2 a pair anyway. And I don't want six pairs for nine quid. I want five for a fiver. Walked out in a huff. (Huffs were on special.)

They're ok when worn with sports shoes as they were intended to be 🏸,but not with semi formal casual shoes and definitely not with Oxford and brogue shoes,like some wear then with. I've been to weddings where quite a few of the men were wearing suits....with white sports socks!!
