Hopefully in the spring I'll start taking the bike to work but I thought it best that I get my fitness levels up first.
i Havant cycled properly in probably 10 years so doing 20 miles a day will take some building up too . . or so i thought.

I went out on my old full suspension cheapo MTB last night and managed to do 9.5 miles in 47 minutes which I think works out to an average speed of 12mph which i didn't think was too bad for my first go.

My commute to work is 10 miles so I should be able to achieve this in under an hour from now. I might think about riding in sooner than spring

+1 Don't put off until tomorrow what you can do today, or tomorrow in this case, so tomorrow do what you could have done today but..........oh good grief
I'd just go for it, just make sure you've got your lights on
