I've noticed a few people using photos as avatars.

Apart from Che Guevera, they don't look like anybody I know so I assume they are pictures of the posters.

I'm looking to change my avatar and don't mind people seeing my ugly mug. I'm comfortable with what I post and don't say anything I wouldn't discuss say, down the pub or at work.

Are there any drawbacks I should consider?

Just be prepared for all the requests from the opposite sex for your phone number, or asking for articles of clothing.

It really is getting beyond a joke now.:biggrin:

Is that you tdr1nka? I thought it was Mel Gibson.

Yes, that's me on BOAB's Essex ride last week!

And, DON'T! When I lived in Croydon the staff at my local chemists used to laughingly call me 'Mr. Gibson' although they knew my name!

But then as long as you mean Mel Gibson circ. the first Mad Max film, I'll take that as a compliment!

Can I take the fifth on that?

Oh mind you it wasn't a question, phew!
