Attacking While on a Toilet Break

Just read that there are a lot of suggestions from different riders at THE TOUR OF OMAN that a group attacked while current leader EBH was taking a comfort break.

Although there is no rule against this it seems below the belt to me!!!

EBH lost over a minute and any chance of victory

I don't mind, as long as it doesn't trickle down (ho ho) into other professions. I'd hate to be attacked by my lorry driving colleagues while I was on a toilet break, for instance.

It could well be jealousy from the other teams about the amount of exposure Sky is getting so far this season!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now I hope even more than before that Sky gets some good wins this year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Seriously though, attacking when race leader is having a pee isn't nice, but it sounds as though Sky were being a wee bit arrogant before that. This'll have to go down as part of the learning curve I suppose.

It's not the first time it's happened either. Charley Gaul was attacked while on a toilet break in the 1950s because the other riders didn't like his arrogance.

Yup, I think Sky is going to have to be a bit more careful - you can't win with no friends in cycling.
