I've got the ATK2000 which so far I'm very pleased with. I knew it had limitations but the main problem I'm having at the moment is getting the best position on my helmet.

At the moment it's attached to the top. I did have it in my helmet's first holes but it ended up just showing the floor. Now it's a bit further back and when going straight it's fine, however when looking behind and when I've stopped/going through traffic slowly/stopped at lights, etc I find it points up a little too much.

Any advice on fitting it to the helmet/the best way of doing it?

I believe 'King Cam' magnatom is away this week, but I think there was a thread a few months ago about this very topic. From what I remember most people got there by trial and error but the 2000 is a bit of a beast to be mounted on your noggin.

King cam is back ;) (in a limited fashion, very busy with work!)

I positioned mine in the side of my helmet. It took some fiddling but eventually I got it in a reasonable position. I had to place a bit of plastic under the holder to keep it at the right angle.

It really is trial and error. You could always upgrade...;)

I've moved mine from the top to the side. The quick test in my room gives me more hope of catching sideways action. Don't have to use the bike again till Sunday but I might go out before. Hopefully it'll be a better shot!

Cheers

Tried the new, side position. Much better! When going around roundabouts, waiting at lights, looking sideways it picked up a lot more action :bravo:.

The sort of action it can pick up on a hot summers day is even better.....

Bad magnatom, dirty magnatom, in your bed!

Anyway, what are you doing talking about hot summer days? Is that when it makes double figures? Now I on the other hand, being over 4 degrees closer to the equator than you, will be capturing artistically necessary scenes throughout the summer.
