Well so far I have owned this bike for 2 months, spent wasted £55 on a LBS to grease some parts and little else and the creaking is driving me mad. I thought it was the seatpost so I have ordered a new one, then the rear hub which is costly but now I am back to square one thinking its the BB.

When I put pressure through the frame on the pedal stroke it starts, I stop and sometimes it carries on but not always, I get out of the saddle and it happens again but not as bad but today when on freewheel it carried on.

I have a video to capture the noise, bare with me and you can hear it.

Your thoughts?

Throw it back at the shop.

It's more than likely that the bearings in the BB are not quite seated flat. The way to deal with it is to remove (or have the BB bearings) taken out, then put back in, making sure they are properly pressed in, that the little clips behind them, are properly flat against the shell, and that they are nicely lubed. Make sure the cranks are torqued up as well.

I would but its Rose from Germany.

Thanks, the cranks have been checked. Could it be the spokes making that noise? I will pop the bike to a mech and check the BB

I dropped a little bit of oil on the joints of the spokes and test tomorrow. I will give Evans a shout in the morning to see if they can take a look at the BB.

UPDATE:

Spoke to Rose who are going to pick the bike up but this leaves me bikeless and . The have said its the rear hub and in his words

"Its a problem with the hub, the bearing seats are allowing the bearing to move in the shell"

Does this mean anything and could it be sorted by servicing the hub? Its because I am more concerned with been with no bike (Summer bike out of action)

Sounds like it is a problem they are aware of from experience. If indeed it is the rear hub then you need a new wheel, could they send you a new wheel instead?

They want me to buy a new wheel at £209 and then return the old one, I can only get to the post office on Saturdays so it could all take a fair few weeks.

Cracking a solo.
Would they agree to you buying a wheel in the UK and refunding you for the wheel you're returning?

The UK rep is arranging for a wheel to be sent over to him, he then sorts out a courier to pick my bike up, the then repairs and checks the bike over and returns it. I'd say I will be without it for a couple of weeks.
