Arrange training rides from Chesterfield?

Hello,

I'm a keen cyclist from Chesterfield, Derbyshire and getting fed up of training on my tod!

Any folks in the Chesterfield vicinity want to arrange some regular rides out into the Peaks?

Looking at doing 3-4hr steady weekend rides, half nine-ish start. Also up for evening night rides of 1hr-2hr too.

The club scene here seems pretty poor with the nearest decent lot being at Dronfield, Matlock and then Sheff. I've meet up with them in the past but I'm surprised that there seems a dearth of cycling here in Chesterfield!

I live in south Sheffied going primarily in the directions you describe. I'm cool with rides unless you're one of these 18mph people!

If you want half nine weekend rides the CTC do them. The north derbyshire are lumped in with the south yorkshire and a few people go there from that direction, unfortunately they are probably a bit slower than what you want.

looking for steady distance rides this time of year...in the 65%HR zone type rides.

i live sth sheffield nr ish to dronfield would be nice to join you on route , i ride out with a club the odd sunday but with the nights getting lighter be good to ride out in the week.
