are these prices for real

Well you should have SOME protection via ebay(and paypal, granted paypal are a nightmare themselves).

It obviously seems cheap.

Possible factory "overruns" that have been imported without paying duty/vat. And/or drop shipping from China.

bikenow.com doesn't exist.

Registered ebay business seller, Spain (doesn't mean its shipped from Spain).

Their history seems okay, way too many ratings there for me to consider it fabricated.

That doesn't include a Crank/Chain/BB. Going price is around 600 quid, im not sure how much it is without these.

Just looked - £200 for crankset so 360+200 is 560 without chain or BB - so it's not that far off of the going price.

If you view seller's shop some of the items are from Spain.... and that bikenow.com website screen capture is bogus.

Like gaz's fake Pino I would say "If it's too good to be true - it probably is"

EDIT: Squidge beat me to it !

I don't think there is a problem, the only problem is calling it a Groupset, granted the rest of the info shows less than a full groupset.

The screenshot is strange, but I have seen many mysitenamecom usernames on ebay without actual sites that relate.

I am dubious. There was a classy looking website in Spain recently that was selling bikes at knockdown prices. But the feedback looks ok. I would contact some of the purchasers and check directly with them.

I had bike stuff like that in the past and sold it on as new 12 month on at a profit. Grab it.

I trust mr tax man was informed

Looking at the site, I'd always air on the side of caution just because it looks fabricated. Take into account also that this isn't the first place I've heard about dodgy spanish based online stores for bikes & other things.

If it's close to RRP, I'd go for a trusted source & pay the extra £'s just for peace of mind.

guys thanks for the posts, guess you are allways learning.Dr squirrel I noticed the components you dont get after I had posted, and comparing to merlin or ribble the deal does not look too hot.Its a lot of cash to get it wrong and this is why I have brought it to the wise men of the forum

I'd leave it well alone TBH. As already stated if it looks too good to be true, it probably is, but that's just my own opinion.

For the difference in price, I'd go with a mainstream store, and start building a relationship with them. Those I've dealt with (planet-x, CRC, wiggle, Rutland cycles and SJS) are unbelievably helpful, which makes life much easier!
