Bought one of these today after 2 weekends of eating mud........ are they any good?

Threw the velcro away in the end after 30mins of fiddling and used cable ties.

Their main job do is stop mud coming through the top of the forks and getting you in the face. They're very useful if you hit any cow crap at speed ;)

You'll still get crud all over your feet and shins etc, but that's why you go mountain biking

I use the Mucky Nutz versions. One of those front, one rear, plus the ass saver. They are next door to useless if it's very wet but a bit helpful if it's just damp trails. With hindsight they were not worth the money but they are on the bike now.

I use mudhuggers front and rear. They aren't cheap but they are superb.
