Are these 2 cassettes the same?

Anyone know whether a Shimano HG30 7-speed 11-28 is the same beast as a Shimano VTT-7 7-speed 11-28 cassette?

Reason I ask is, I saw the latter at Decathlon on a hanger with the HG30 label, but the packaging on the cassette doesn't say HG30, it says VTT-7. Is it an imported version (intended for mainland Europe, maybe) of the HG30?

Not totally sure on this, but form having been in Decathlon in France, i noticed a lot of their stock had differnet codes on it. I suspect its just the french labelling...

VTT used to be attached to the Exage range. Suspect it's exactly the same or near as dammit - will certainly be compatible.

VTT is French for a Mountainbike (Velo toutes terrain).
Probably telling you the cassette is for a Mountainbike.
This any help?

Thanks all.

Having never replaced an MTB cassette (so I wouldn't know the difference) Betty's comment makes me wonder - this VTT-7 would be ok as a replacement for the HG30 currently on my drop-bar tourer, yes? Reason I ask - it's several pounds cheaper than the HG30 at my LBS.
