Anyone using these wheels?

Could get my LBS to build a set but I want black hubs and black spokes and I've got a feeling he'll only offer silver and silver. If that is the case I quite fancy the above ones. They tick all my boxes for strength, and also for aesthetics

I know the reputation of Mavic OP rims is somewhat legendary, although I've never had the pleasure yet, and I know Hope products are generally excellent, but I don't really know anything about their road hubs.

Opinions please..................

I looked at these first: http://www.hopetech.com/page.aspx?itemid=SPG93&tab=description

Looked on their website at dealers, funnily enough, Geoff Smith was one, so I rang him about them, said he hardly deals with Hope stuff anymore, due to their rims being being CNC machined (not good in the cycling world apparently), and doesn't get many people asking about them. which is when we spoke about his handbuilts. This is when I made my mind up on getting some handbuilt.

Yeah looked at his sight and his reputation is bang on, but he only builds with silver spokes and I need black ;)

I am going to speak to Geoff on Tuesday, but it will depend if he can do me black rims, hubs and spokes I think, fingers crossed though as I would like some handbuilt jobbies

The Mavic open pro rims are black anyway, not sure on the hubs or spokes

He has some DRC rims (thicker wall so longer lasting brake surface) and mentioned that most people go for them, slightly cheaper and heavier, but popular all the same, they come in Silver or Black
