...ship a boxed up bike?

I quite fancy having one of my bikes with me on holiday in southern France next month but no point taking on the plane because it won't fit in the hire-car once I get to Toulouse with the lovely Helen and her daughter and our bags in tow.

Someone here at work in cph uses sendmybags to ship his luggage back and forth, and I saw they do boxed bikes and a plan began to from. Thought I'd seek the wisdom input of the chatterati before making a decision.

We've used a similar company to send skis out to France. www.PisteofMind.com gave us a decent service. They use regular Couriers, but cost was reasonable
